New Chumashim

At the Rabbi's suggestion, the committee recommended that the congregation switch from the Hertz Chumash to the Etz Hayim Chumash.  The Board has approved and we have begun to use the new versions.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Etz Hayim, it has translations that are in modern English and insightful commentary.  This certainly makes learning so much easier.

We are asking that members find a way to donate at least one copy of Etz Hayim to the synagogue.  You can have a label 'In Memory' of a loved one or 'In Honor' of a special event placed in on the inside of the book.  The cost is $75 per copy and may be ordered by calling Jean in the office.
